In John 3:16, it is clear that God has a never ending love for us.
He loves us so much that He went as far as sacrificing His only begotten son and that whosoever (not minding your race, continent, height, weight, status, etc.), I repeat: whosoever believes in Him shall not perish but instead have eternal life.
Can you see how much God loves us? He doesn’t even want us to die. He wants us to live forever. He loves us so much that in Isaiah 49:15 he made it clear that it is impossible for a mother to forget her suckling baby, but even if she does, He, our heavenly Father, will never forget us.
God loves us so much that He is willing to give to us whatever we ask for. Jesus said in Mathew 7:7-10, in an encouragingly assuring tone, that we should ask and we will receive, seek and we will find, knock and the door will definitely be opened onto us.
Jesus even went further in John 13:14. He said, “Whatever you ask in my name, I will do.” God said “whoever,” now Jesus is saying “whatever.”
Whatever We Ask
This is the logic: God is willing to provide whatever we ask for, including eternity, to whomever asks for it. It’s that simple. After all, He said He knows the thought He has for us; they are thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give us an expected end. (Jeremiah 29:11, KJV) Another version said, “For I know the plans that I have for you, plans for welfare and not for calamity, to give you a future and a hope.”
God’s steadfast love is under no doubt, as He has even volunteered to fight our battles. In Jeremiah 1:9, He said they will fight against you, but will not overcome you, because He is always with you and will rescue you.
Also, Isaiah 41:10 explains more about His love when He said, “Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.”
God also said in Isaiah 43:1-2, “Fear not, for I have redeemed you; I have called you by name, you are Mine. When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and through the rivers, they shall not overwhelm you; when you walk through fire you shall not be burned, and the flame shall not consume you.”
If you are reading this, be assured that God loves you more than anything.
“In all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us. For I am sure that neither death nor life, nor angels nor rulers, nor things present nor things to come, nor powers, nor height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord.” Romans 8:37-39
Keep dwelling in God’s love.
